Especially candidates - Romney, Cain, Paul - with “real world” business experience and understanding of the limited role of government in directing the economy. The abuses and distortions of the economy, often mistakenly ascribed to business and capitalism, were not caused by an unregulated or free market economy, but the constant intrusions and obstructions of government. Overwhelming government debt is currently stifling private investment and causing productive sectors of the economy to languish. Federal spending deficits and unmanageable entitlement programs are not solved by discredited Keynesian economics, but by unleashing truly free market capitalism to reinvigorate the national economy.
