The changes have a good chance of improving the San Diego park's profitability with the newly announced plans that focus on increasing per guest revenue. The hotel and "upselling" of the SeaWorld experience may do just that. A concern is no announcement was made of new attractions to drive attendance upward, other than SeaWorld attempting to respond to the expressed desire of attendees to see the Killer Whales in a more natural environment.
