Answer: YES
Middle-class taxes are too high. With little to no chance of passing, President Obama continues to call for higher taxes, more spending and bigger government. His State of the Union proposals call for another maze of taxes and complexities. Although the Treasury Department collected more revenue than any other time in history, the record taxes accumulated were still not enough as the feds ran another nearly half-trillion-dollar deficit. After taking more of our collective paychecks than at anytime in history, the budget is still not sufficient without being awash in red ink. Perhaps the problem is not imposing enough tax collections but from spending too much.
