Kelly Cunningham, National University System - NO: The purpose of the economic panels was for CEOs to advise the Trump administration on how government policy affects economic growth, job creation, and business productivity. By drawing on “real world” private sector expertise, business leaders could provide input on what it takes to create jobs and drive economic growth while cutting government red tape hindering businesses from hiring, innovating and expanding. Whatever benefit was possible by providing this input is lost by their resigning.
