The findings released Thursday, April 28 are part of a report from the National University Institute for Policy Research. Using census data and results from four recent state elections, the institute ran a model to project how Trump will fare in California’s primary.

“Pollsters have identified a coalescing of Republican vote behind Trump over the past two weeks, suggesting a greater acceptance of Trump as the party nominee,” the report’s author, Vince Vasquez, said in a news release.
