Answer: YES

Opportunities are abundantly available for high-paying jobs in a variety of technically trained and skilled positions. According to California Economic Development Department data, among the top 10 highest paid occupations in San Diego, earning more than $125,000 per year, six are medically related requiring a doctoral degree and internship and/or residency. Lawyers also require a professional degree. The others, computer/information systems and science and architectural/engineering managers, require at least a bachelor's degree and five-plus years of experience.
