New technology company formation rose 50 percent in San Diego County during the third quarter of 2010 compared with the previous quarter, according to a new report from Connect.
In the quarter, 94 new technology companies were created in the county, up from 64 tech start-ups in the second quarter, according to the report from Connect, a San Diego-based nonprofit that encourages technology entrepreneurship. These companies created about 340 new jobs in the third quarter.
