The center's president, Erik Bruvold, said he is still preparing his findings, but a much lower public contribution matched by a much higher private share would make a stadium deal in San Diego an "extreme outlier" in the NFL stadium world. Washington, D.C, financed its stadium with only a 25 percent public contribution, but that metro area is three times that of San Diego and with higher income levels.
